- Choosing of Clinical Experts - voivodships coordinators
In each of the regions in which it was implemented “Preliminary programme of routine HCV testing among pregnant women“ an open competition for the Clinical Expert was performed. The task of our specialists include invitation of pregnant women to participate in the Project, care and coordination of the process of obtaining clinical specimens. - Education activities
As part of the Project “Preliminary programme of routine HCV testing among pregnant women“ we conducted five trainings "Proceedings of patients with hepatitis C, and epidemiology and prevention of HCV infection" in the following cities:
- Warsaw - 19.11.2012r.;
- Lublin - 01.02.2013r.;
- Bydgoszcz - 04.02.2013r.;
- Krakow - 27.02.2013r.;
- Kielce - 13.03.2013r.
Training was directed to obstetricians, gynecologists, and family doctors and nurses and midwives. A total of 608 health workers were trained. Each participant received training materials and the training certificate signed by the Director of the National Institute of Public Health - National Institute of Hygiene.
